    Google Translate Disclaimer

    The Maryland Department of Information Technology (“DoIT”) offers translations of the content through Google Translate. Because Google Translate is an external website, DoIT does not control the quality or accuracy of translated content. All DoIT content is filtered through Google Translate which may result in unexpected and unpredictable degradation of portions of text, images and the general appearance on translated pages. Google Translate may maintain unique privacy and use policies. These policies are not controlled by DoIT and are not associated with DoIT’s privacy and use policies. After selecting a translation option, users will be notified that they are leaving DoIT’s website. Users should consult the original English content on DoIT’s website if there are any questions about the translated content.

    DoIT uses Google Translate to provide language translations of its content. Google Translate is a free, automated service that relies on data and technology to provide its translations. The Google Translate feature is provided for informational purposes only. Translations cannot be guaranteed as exact or without the inclusion of incorrect or inappropriate language. Google Translate is a third-party service and site users will be leaving DoIT to utilize translated content. As such, DoIT does not guarantee and does not accept responsibility for, the accuracy, reliability, or performance of this service nor the limitations provided by this service, such as the inability to translate specific files like PDFs and graphics (e.g. .jpgs, .gifs, etc.).

    DoIT provides Google Translate as an online tool for its users, but DoIT does not directly endorse the website or imply that it is the only solution available to users. All site visitors may choose to use alternate tools for their translation needs. Any individuals or parties that use DoIT content in translated form, whether by Google Translate or by any other translation services, do so at their own risk. DoIT is not liable for any loss or damages arising out of, or issues related to, the use of or reliance on translated content. DoIT assumes no liability for any site visitor’s activities in connection with use of the Google Translate functionality or content.

    The Google Translate service is a means by which DoIT offers translations of content and is meant solely for the convenience of non-English speaking users of the website.     RecoveryNet provides access to services that support individuals as they establish a healthy sober life in their community. RecoveryNet promotes free and independent choice of service providers that will best meet your recovery needs from the approved Provider Directory.   Providers include licensed clinical treatment agencies as well as grass-roots, community, and faith-based organizations providing you with services that support your recovery.  Each RecoveryNet Participant works with their own Care Coordinator to assist in accessing the services and opportunities you need to strengthen your recovery. 
     
    What services does RecoveryNet Offer?
    RecoveryNet offers both clinical and Recovery Support Services that in include*:

    Who is eligible for RecoveryNet?
    Eligible individuals are Maryland residents at least 18 years of age, who meet income eligibility (200% of the federal poverty  measure) and are either completing a residential treatment  program or are engaged in a designated RecoveryNet outpatient program or Recovery-Support Center location and are committed to establishing a healthy sober life.
     
    Active military members, Guard members and Veterans who meet eligibility are offered access through a Statewide Service Coordinator for Service Members.  The Coordinator works with you directly to insure that the members needs are met.
     
    Maryland RecoveryNet and Maryland's Commitment to Veterans
    (http://mdva.state.md.us/VBHAB/index.html) are combining resources to expand and enhance services to our Servicemen & women across the state of Maryland. These organizations are partnering to improve access to treatment and recovery support services to eligible military personnel in need, whether a veteran, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserves.
     
     
    How do I sign up for RecoveryNet?
    RecoveryNet participants complete a face to face eligibility screening/assessment.  If you are deemed eligible for service, you will work with a Care Coordinator to complete the enrollment process and choose provider services.  If you are currently in a residential substance abuse tratmetn program ask your counselor about RecoveryNet.  If you are in recovery in the community and need RecoveryNet Services, email the Regional Manager for the county in which you reside.
     
    What is required of me?
    RecoveryNet participants are required to work with their Care Coordinator for a period of 5-8 months.  During this time your Care Coordinator will stay in touch for a brief bi-weekly check-in via telephone or face-to-face contact to discuss with you your recovery needs and insure that you have opportunity to utilize RecoveryNet Services.  As a condition of receiving RecoveryNet Services, participants must complete three (3) Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) Surveys at one enrollment, one at discharge and one about 6 months post enrollment.  This confidential GPRA survey takes about 15-30 minutes and is given to the participant by their Care Coordinator.  The purpose of the survey is to measure how helpful services have been in supporting and strengthening your recovery.  It is through the survey that future funding is determined.  To learn more about the GPRA Survey tool visit http://www.samhsa.gov/grants/tools.aspx.
     
    What is a Care Coordinator?
    A Care Coordinator is an individual trained in accessing community resources to support wellness and recovery. Care Coordinators  assist their clients to access services , where available, that support the client’s recovery plan.  All recipients of RecoveryNet services work with a Care coordinator to access services.
