Disability and Health Data

Having access to robust, reliable and comparable data on disability is important to creative long-term positive health outcomes for people with disabilities. Maryland collects a set of six self-reported questions on functioning that have been validated and endorsed by the Health and Human Services Administration. The use of one data tool over time will improve Maryland's capacity to improve the health of this population.
