About > Focus Areas > Self-Advocacy
Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have unique voices and perspectives that deserve to be heard and respected. That's why our self-advocacy Focus Area is dedicated to empowering individuals to express their needs, aspirations, and concerns. We provide resources, support, and a platform for self-advocates to stand up for themselves and advocate for their rights. Through collaboration, education, and active engagement, we aspire to create an environment where everyone's voice is valued and respected, making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
