Regulatory and contract food samples also collected from FDA where specific organism of interest is requested for testing which could be qualitative or quantitative analysis. Qualitative will be all food borne pathogens.
We routinely get seasonal samples such as Crab meat, Apple cider and Ice cream.. Depending on the season we would receive a larger volume of sample loads coming into the labs for testing. These results are submitted to Food Control and later put into a Federal data base eLEXNET.
