    Grant Project Description: This two-year grant enables Health Partners to begin billing for dental services and to allow the grantee to achieve long-term financial sustainability for its dental program. Health Partners currently has two part-time dental hygienists and a volunteer dentist who is being credentialed as a Medicaid provider.     Grant Project Description: The two-year grant supported a program providing services in an the Montgomery County Dental Pilot program. This included preventative, diagnostic, and emergency services, such as regular cleanings, x-rays, and extractions. Grant funds were utilized to enable Spanish Catholic Center to increase the number of days the program served patients from two to four, with one day exclusively dedicated to serving pediatric patients. This program served more than 4,130 individuals and leveraged an additional $90,000 in program funding.

    Grant Project Description: This two-year grant supported the relocation and expansion of the WCHD Village Dental clinic to improve access and increase its capacity to serve county residents. Grant funds were utilized to re-locate the clinic to a larger facility, increase the number of volunteer dental provider hours, implement a case management program, expand the clinic's hours of operation and increase the number of patients the clinic is able to serve. This program served more than 1,900 patients and leveraged an additional $46,340 in private and federal funding.

    Grant Project Description: This three-year grant supported the “Residents Access to a Coalition of Health (REACH” program which links low-income uninsured county residents to a network of primary care and specialist providers who provide services on a sliding fee scale. Grant funds were utilized to support the costs of opening a new dental clinic in Glen Burnie that provided basic dental care at reduced rates to individuals enrolled in the REACH program. This clinic allowed for Anne Arundel to provide dental services to an additional 1,300 individuals over the duration of the grant.
