    The Maryland Department of Information Technology (“DoIT”) offers translations of the content through Google Translate. Because Google Translate is an external website, DoIT does not control the quality or accuracy of translated content. All DoIT content is filtered through Google Translate which may result in unexpected and unpredictable degradation of portions of text, images and the general appearance on translated pages. Google Translate may maintain unique privacy and use policies. These policies are not controlled by DoIT and are not associated with DoIT’s privacy and use policies. After selecting a translation option, users will be notified that they are leaving DoIT’s website. Users should consult the original English content on DoIT’s website if there are any questions about the translated content.

    DoIT uses Google Translate to provide language translations of its content. Google Translate is a free, automated service that relies on data and technology to provide its translations.     NOTA DE PRENSA: El Departamento de Salud de Maryland se une a Baltimore City y Johns Hopkins Medicine para ofrecer vacunas contra el COVID-19 gratis en Fiesta Baltimore


    Baltimore, MD— Este domingo​ 3 de octubre, durante Fiesta Baltimore, el festival cultural latino que se llevó a cabo en Patterson Park, el Departamento de Salud de Maryland (MDH), Baltimore City y Johns Hopkins Medicine, colaboraron en un esfuerzo conjunto para ofrecer vacunas gratuitas contra el COVID-19, y para concientizar acerca de la necesidad de vacunarse.

     


     Baltimore City llevó a cabo la vacunación en colaboración con John Hopkins Medicine

    Ambas organizaciones se unieron al estado en la lucha contra el COVID-19.


    El evento implica un nuevo esfuerzo del MDH a nivel estatal de apoyar y promover el acceso igualitario y conveniente para las comunidades más vulnerables y con dificultades de acceso a los recursos e información. 


    Dra. Kathleen Page, Profesora Adjunta de Medicina en Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine y Embajadora Oficial GoVAX, estuvo disponible durante el evento para responder todas las consultas sobre las vacunas contra el COVID-19.


    “El COVID-19 tuvo un impacto muy profundo en la comunidad latina”, declaró la Dra. Kathleen Page, Profesora Adjunta de Medicina en Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine y Embajadora Oficial GoVAX. “Les pido a todos los miembros de la comunidad que se protejan y que protejan a los que más quieren con esta vacuna que salva tantas vidas”.


    Promotores comunitarios brindando información sobre la importancia de la vacunación durante el festival.


    Durante el evento, la Dra. Page trabajó codo a codo con los nuestros promotores comunitarios bilingües, que compartieron información educativa sobre las vacunas en inglés y español.
