International Travel Information Resources

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) maintains a toll-free number for public inquiries about travel-related health issues. The number is 877-394-8747. This toll-free number will allow you to receive a faxed directory of materials on vaccinations and other health information for international travel. After receiving the directory, call toll-free to 888-232-3299, follow the prompts to enter the document(s) of those materials you want to be faxed to you.

The CDC website is an excellent source of general information, as well as country-specific advice for travelers.

The World Health Organization website is a useful compendium of vaccination recommendations, news on disease outbreaks around the globe, risk avoidance for travelers, and other information. This site is available in several languages.
