Need help finding medical evaluation services for child abuse or neglect in your community?
Maryland Child Advocacy Centers (CACs)
CACs provide a safe place for children to talk about possible abuse with members of law enforcement, Child Protective Services, counselors, their families and other involved professionals. Each CAC is unique, comprised of a variety of resources ranging from providing medical evaluations to coordinating multidisciplinary team meetings to facilitating mental health services.
Child Protective Services (CPS)
CPS is a specialized department within the Department of Human Resources, specifically designated to provide services for children who may have been abused or neglected.
Please note that Maryland CHAMP does not provide endorsement for any medical professionals.
