The Maryland Child Abuse Medical Providers' Network
Need help finding medical evaluation services for child abuse or neglect in your community?
Maryland Child Advocacy Centers (CACs)
CACs provide a safe place for children to talk about possible abuse with members of law enforcement, Child Protective Services, counselors, their families and other involved professionals. Each CAC is unique, comprised of a variety of resources ranging from providing medical evaluations to coordinating multidisciplinary team meetings to facilitating mental health services
.
Child Protective Services (CPS)
CPS is a specialized department within the Department of Human Resources, specifically designated to provide services for children who may have been abused or neglected.
Locations for medically evaluating/treating children who may have been abused or neglected - for each jurisdiction in Maryland.
