Notice of Proposed Action

The Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene proposes to repeal in their entirety Regulations .01—.13 under COMAR 10.09.79 Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Demonstration Waiver.
Statement of Purpose
     The purpose of this action is to repeal the entire Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Demonstration Waiver chapter because federal authority for the demonstration waiver has expired. A majority of the PRTF services are covered under COMAR 10.09.89 1915(i) Intensive Behavioral Health Services for Children, Youth, and Families.

     There is no corresponding federal standard to this proposed action.

     The proposed action has no economic impact.
