Statement of Purpose
The purpose of this action is to update existing requirements for involuntary admission signed by physicians and psychologists to certificates for involuntary admission signed by psychiatric nurse practitioners in accordance with Ch. 241, Acts of 2016 (S.B. 1081).
Language is also proposed to include Veterans’ Administration hospitals as application admission recipients.
