    The Maryland Department of Information Technology (“DoIT”) offers translations of the content through Google Translate. Because Google Translate is an external website, DoIT does not control the quality or accuracy of translated content. All DoIT content is filtered through Google Translate which may result in unexpected and unpredictable degradation of portions of text, images and the general appearance on translated pages. Google Translate may maintain unique privacy and use policies. These policies are not controlled by DoIT and are not associated with DoIT’s privacy and use policies.     The Secretary of Health proposes to amend Regulations .13 and .16 under COMAR 10.33.01 Nursing Home Administrators. This action was considered by the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators at public meetings held on September 12, 2018, and November 14, 2018, notice of which was given by publication on the Board’s website at https://health.maryland.gov/bonha/Pages/Index.aspx pursuant to General Provisions Article, §3–302(c), Annotated Code of Maryland.

    Statement of Purpose

    The purpose of this action is to require that a preceptor, who is the administrator of record of the facility in which training is to take place, have a minimum of 30 days in that facility as its administrator. Additionally, a clarification is being made regarding complaints and the authority of the disciplinary subcommittee.

    There is no corresponding federal standard to this proposed action.
