The Talbot County Addictions Program (TCAP)

The Talbot County Addictions Program (TCAP) provides screening, assessment, individual and group counseling and referral services to adults, adolescents and their families who have problems with alcohol and drugs. Outpatient treatment addresses the chronic nature of addiction as a disease process and provides participants skills to avoid relapse. There is an emphasis on learning how to use community supports (AA/NA) effectively while being a member of a structured treatment program. Programs offered include a 6 week DWI Education Program, relapse prevention, women’s group, dual diagnosis treatment, detention-based treatment, adolescent program, family education and support, care coordination, Spanish group, regular and enhanced adult outpatient treatment and drug courts. Third party payors are billed and sliding fee scale based on ability to pay is available.
